Community Manager


Role & Responsibilities

The Community Manager will report directly to the Head of Marketing and will be based in Singapore. S/he will be a core part of the highly operational marketing team. As a proactive team player s/he will create and execute community marketing strategies for Healint’s primary brand, Migraine Buddy, managing its growing user community. S/he will develop and maintain relationships with key community advocates and influencers, grow the franchise following, and engage with users and digital healthcare consumers online & through various social media channels, driving quality leads and boosting Migraine Buddy’s online reputation.


Responsibilities

The Community Manager will lead Migraine Buddy’s online and offline user community engagement and will be key to its growth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • In close collaboration with various teams, create and execute customer journey from offsite to onsite to in-app for Migraine Buddy

  • Listen, respond, ask questions and engage the audience, communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way that will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected users.

  • Proactively collaborate with relevant parties (both external and internal, including influencers) to deliver new initiatives for the community.

  • Foster, grow, and manage our community outreach, developing the ground floor relationships with our users to create fans for life

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships within the health and wellness aware communities online

  • Partner with Healint’s Digital Marketing and Social Media specialists to maximize social media reach and influence with our community members

  • Regular reporting to the wider organization on current community trends, sentiment, and channel performance; use data to inform recommendations for ongoing community outreach initiatives, messaging, and promotions to both existing and prospective customers

  • Act on behalf of our users and bring their voice into product team discussions and meetings; ensure user sentiment, desires, and needs are understood and met through ongoing promotional support and the development of our products

The Community Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as s/he engages with customers on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of:

  • Turning fans into customers.

  • Turning customers into advocates.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for Healint’s multidisciplinary team is an outgoing, self-motivated, and experienced communications professional. S/he has a passion for and experience being a key contributor to user engagement campaigns and will thrive on working autonomously on a portion of the broader company plan. Ideally, s/he will write well, present well, and have demonstrable client-service experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, or a related field

  • Minimum of three 1-2 of community management experience, preferably for a major consumer product brand (Healthtech is a plus!)

  • Have created and executed community-focused marketing campaigns specifically designed to foster, grow and promote the loyalty and passion of your project’s community

  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio of published professional work; ideally in a variety of mediums including long-form and social media

  • A self-starter with proven ability to work both in a team setting, as well as independently to drive campaign efforts as needed

  • Solid understanding of healthcare with a passion for HealthTech; Preferably with knowledge of Migraine Buddy, passionate about patient advocacy; .

  • “Can do attitude" - a day-to-day problem solver.

  • Continuous learner, an experimenter

  • Ability to easily transition from high-level thinking to detailed creative execution and the ability to dive into the details.

  • Storytelling skills

  • Organized doer, enjoys getting things done while moving fast!

  • A creative eye with the ability to use online design tools such as Canva.

  • Familiar with WordPress navigation or other CMS.

 

Bonus if knowledge of:

WordPress navigation or other CMS, Google Play, iTunes, Google Analytics, pen(s) and paper as well as post-its, Google Docs, Slack, Xmind, Trello, and human psychology.
